It was the year the year that Amazon found all the way to the Alexa. In September, a new subwoofer, an audio input device, an auto dongle and an Echo amplifier were announced. That would have been enough, but the company has also begun to dive from the other side of the stage. 2018 also found Amazon experimenting in the category of connected devices – namely a microwave and wall clock (oh, and a singing fish, as well).
