The Munchery the saga continues. In a new class action lawsuit, former Munchery worker Joshua Philips says the start-up owes him, along with 250 other employees, a 60-day salary, citing The Worker Adjustment and The Recycling Notification Act, a US labor law requiring employers to employees must give 60 days notice prior to collective redundancies. Munchery, a San Francisco-based prepared meal delivery company, announced in an email to customers on Jan. 21 that it would cease operations, effective immediately.
