Lyft partners with Segway to deploy more durable scooters

Lyft is preparing to deploy its new generation of shared scooters in partnership with Segway Ninebot. This follows the announcement by Segway Ninebot of his new scooter, the Model Max. The Max model has been designed with the awareness that wear and tear is a major issue for shared electric scooter services. It is supposed to be more powerful, offer a better driving experience and increased operational efficiency, with a battery that can last 37 km with a single charge, against only 15 km. To help bumpy roads, the Model Max features front and rear wheels inflated to 10 inches
