SpaceX plans to lay off about 10% of its workforce to manage its costs, confirmed today the company at TechCrunch. Reported for the first time by Eric Berger of Ars Technica, the news comes as the company embarks on an ambitious plan to develop and test an interplanetary spacecraft while simultaneously performing frequent orbital launches.
