VLC, the popular multimedia reading service, fills one of its gaps with the addition of AirPlay support, which has just crossed the bar of three billion users. This new feature was revealed by Jean-Baptiste Kempf, a leading developer of the service, in an interview with Variety at CES. It will allow users to transfer content from their Android or iOS device to an Apple TV. The addition, planned in the upcoming VLC 4 release, is the biggest new since the service added Chromecast support last summer.
